Coach
Harry joined Function Fitness at 18, but his connection to the gym started long before that. After training here as a teenager, he told Lou — the gym’s founder and Charlie’s mum — that one day he’d work here. True to his word, he showed up the very next day to get started. Now he coaches both PT and group classes and brings a calm, approachable style that helps members feel right at home.
Outside the gym, Harry’s a big fan of movies, steak, and kettlebell training — and he’s currently in an ongoing (and losing) battle with cutting out sugar. He keeps it simple, but he gets the struggle.
Harry always knew he wanted to coach, but everything shifted when Function Fitness evolved from a standard gym into something with deeper purpose. Seeing how much impact the right environment and coaching could have on people made him want to step up, learn more, and play a bigger role in that process. That shift turned a job into something much more meaningful.
Harry enjoys coaching people who want to learn and grow. He’s all about helping members feel stronger, more confident, and supported — not just in the gym, but in how they move and live day to day.
